Gascogne
Traditional French cooking with an emphasis on southwestern dishes. Rustic French Country-Romantic candlelit tables which overlook a shady, rustic garden. During the holiday season, the garden houses a glorious Christmas tree.

Zagat
"Extremely French in a good way", this "romantic" Chelsea bistro serves up "solid Gascogne" classics via "charming" servers in "pleasant" (if "cramped") "rustic" quarters; "interesting" wines "from Southwest France" add appeal, but for many the "charming garden" is the "best part."

Named after a region noted for its culinary indulgences, this haute establishment is all about foie gras & another luxurious dishes — carefully prepared and presented.
